Sorry I can not figure out what your first problem is. Do you wan to prevent multiple logins? If so, check the TIP below.

As of the second question, Who is Online block must be enabled in order to track Users. If you don't want to show the block to users and use only for admin, you may want to check this TIP

http://xoops-tips.com/news-article.storyid-48.htm

Preventing multiple login is NOT that effective and may not work with the newest Xoops versions. It was tested with 2.7x versions. Use it at your own risk.

You did not provide any information as why it has stopped working. Did you make any changes to your Xoops or just out of blue it stopped working?

To help others help you, please provide as much information as you can.

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.16 and it doesn't appear to be working, I can still login from 2 PC's at the same time on the same account.

I have followed the guide and still having the problem is there any update on the code???

Xoops 2.0.15-16 introduced some major changes. The "preventing multiple login" codes are based on pre Xoops-2.0.15 versions, as you mentioned it might not work at all under new version.

I don't know if anyone has updated the codes. Also the trick is not that effective even under old versions.

pares101:

I don't use Xoops-2.0.15 and later version. I stopped upgrading altogether with their "special features" introduced and I am debating if xoops.jp is the way to go.

May I suggest you post your request in xoops.org official forums and see if anyone has done or willing to do it. Good luck.
