Display new item in a custom page?

Hi,

I have a page that is built using the formulize/pageworks module but I want to include some news relevate to that page. I have an ID that matches a topic in th enews module, but I am at a loss as to how I can do this?

Any ideas?

OK, I have dumped Formulize/Pageworks and gone with Mastop publish, it provides me a lot more flexibility to read my own data from my own existing database and present it nicely within the XOOPs framework.

BUT, I still need to insert some content from the news module inside one of my custom mastop pages built using an uploaded php file..

Also, I need to add my own custom content into one of the blocks that mastop provide, I assume I have to clone one, but then how do I get content into it?
